Through the Research options
dialog box, you can customize options to suit your research
needs. You can activate services for searching, add new
services, and remove others from your computer. You can also
turn on Parental Control, which aims to protect children from
finding potentially offensive or disturbing material.
- On the Tools menu,
click Research.

- In the Research task
pane, click Research options.

- To add research services, click
Add Services.

- Type the
Internet address for the service you want, and then
click Add. The service is
automatically enabled for searching, and it will appear
in the Search for list the next time
you open the Research task pane.

Note The address
listed above is the URL for the eBay Research Web Service.
- Upon successful completion of adding the
service, it will appear in the list of available services.

- Click OK. eBay Search should now appear
in your dropdown list of available Research Services.

- Select "eBay Search" from list of
available Research Services. Enter "new camera" as the eBay
product search string.

- Press "Enter" key or click on green arrow
button to begin the search process.

- Search results are then displayed.

- Title, current price and a link to eBay
item are listed for each match found. Click on a URL link to
take you to that eBay item.

Note In
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, the Research
task pane is available only when you are reading or composing
e-mail messages. |
